Just a guess, but I would think it's "made." She always had two choices: to eat of that fruit, or not. We know the one she made.
I'm not so sure that she had two choices. Imagine this scenario: You're a young girl walking naked through a garden. Then, all of a sudden and out of nowhere, a talking snake jumps in front of you. This scares you. You are frightened by snakes anyway--and this one TALKS! The snake tells you to eat the friggin apple or you will be stupid. The girl is afraid. The girl is very afraid, fear deep within her. The snake sees the fear in her eyes and says again, "You don't want to be STUPID do you?" She eats the apple.
Later on, as she relates the story to her boyfriend, Adam, the young girl doesn't want to appear cowardly. Adam is a strapping young man, but he tends to poke fun at his girlfriend whenever she is timid...."Chicken, Yellow, Scardy Cat" he calls her. So, she tells him that the stuff about not eating the fruit or you will die is dumb. She ate it. She is fine. And look!!! are I not more desirable now? So he eats it too.
God gets mad at these two teenagers, and "grounds" them--but for eternity.
Eve fulfilled her programming and used "what God gave her" to convince Adam to sin too.
If Eve had NOT sinned, she and Adam would have been like angels.....and mankind as a population would never have developed. Then God would have had to create another class of beings, in His likeness, with a greater propensity to sin.
But God didn't make a mistake. Eve sinned just as He, in His divine wisdom planned, and thus chaos was created which has kept Him amused for 6 millennium. Been pretty hard on us humans, but that's life........
So if God created us knowing he would punish all of humanity for something he knew Adam and Eve would do, how can you possibly say he is loving?
