I like that he doesn't even give an order regarding homosexuals. He doesn't say you need to accept it or condemn it. Literally, all he's saying it 'don't be an ***.' And really, that's pretty solid advice just in general.

There has been a push in some churches to address the fallacy of homosexuality as a danger to the community, and Aids/Hiv is a gay only illness.

The push for the community to get tested, and treated without having fear of what others may think of this virus, or them. It is a community service. I am encouraged by it.

That would be he who is without sin cast the first stone and the ninth commandment? No that applies to some other Christian on this thread....you. As long as you comment on every gay related thread you might want to address your false accusations before lecturing a pastor for not promoting hate and bigotry.

Fundamentalists won't hear the pastor's message. THEY are the people he is calling out and they're too full of hubris to listen.

Precisely. We've seen things turning slightly since DOMA was overturned, but now that marriage equality is the law on the land social conservatives have abandoned any inclination toward reasonable consideration. What we're seeing throughout society is a prototypical cornered-animal reaction, a reflection of the flight-or-fight response in the context of there being no apparent path forward within which their fundamentalist perspective prevails.

Only evil bigots would condemn homosexuality which is not wrong.
