Is it reason that says to you when you sit your arse on that chair the chair will be still there when i place my arse on it ? or do you have faith that the chair will be still there when you sit your arse on it ?.

You don't need to be rude. Faith is ALWAYS the result of thinking, which in turn is your brain functioning well. Therefore, faith is a mental trick or you betraying your most precious faculty.

Gnosticism is a large band of religious gray where you can be saved by “gnosis”, knowledge.
Yet, Gnostics never picked up swords and weapons to go evangelize the world for Jehovah!
Therefore, their faith was much less violent.
What a conscientious student can quickly detect in a faith believer is his mental atrophism degenerating reason.
