There have been always reports in the world of the creatures which are called dinosaurs when their bones are found in 'today's' world. The mokele mbembe is one of them.
Mokele-mbembe: The Living Dinosaur!

Mokele-mbembe: The Living Dinosaur!

Introduction

In the jungles of central Africa countries of Congo, Cameroon, and Gabon are reports of animal an animal with a long neck, a long tail, and rounded shape tracks with three claws. The closest known animal that has these characteristics is a sauropod dinosaur.
When some of the local people of the Likouala region would draw in the dirt or sand a representation of Mokele-mbembe they drew the shape of a sauropod dinosaur. Then when they were shown a picture of a sauropod dinosaur they said that picture is Mokele-mbembe.
Mokele-mbembe means "One that stops the flow of rivers." French priest in the region called it "monstrous animal."
Mokele-mbembe is also used as a generic term to refer to other animals like Emela-ntouka, Mbielu-mbielu-mbielu, and Nguma-monene.
Description

Body

Mokele-mbembe has been described as an animal with a long neck and tail which are characteristics of a sauropod dinosaur.
Its body size is somewhere between the size of a hippopotamus and an elephant. Its length has been reported to be between 5 to 10 meters (16 to 32 feet). The length of the neck is between 1.6 to 3.3 meters (5 to 10 feet). The length of the tail is between 1.6 to 3.3 meters (5 to 10 feet). The reports out of Cameroon have reported Mokele-mbembe to be up to 75 feet in length.
There have also been reports of a frill on the back of the head. The frill is like the comb found on a **** (male chicken). There has also been reports of it having a horn on its head.
Skin

The color of the skin is predominately reddish-brown with a color range from gray to brown. There are no reports of hair on the animal.
Tracks

Rounded shape between 30 to 90 centimeters (1 to 3 feet) in diameter with three claws. The distance between tracks is about 2.1 to 2.4 meters (7 to 8 feet).
Sound

The basic belief is that Mokele-mbembe does not make any sounds, though there have been come conflicting reports. This is probably due to the fact that Mokele-mbembe is used generically for other animals and the sound is being confused with Emela-ntouka which makes a sound like a snort, howl, roar, rumble, or growl.
Habitat

Mokele-mbembe lives in the pools and swamps adjacent to the rivers of the Likouala swamp region of The People's Republic of the Congo on the continent of Africa. Its uses the lakes as a crossing path to go from one river to another river.
Diet

The pygmies of the Likouala swamp region report that the essential diet of Mokele-mbembe consists of the Malombo plant. Since it only eats plants then Mokele-mbembe is classified as a herbivore. The Malombo plant actually describes two plants: Landolphia mannii and Landolphia owariensis.
Behavior

Mokele-mbembe lives most of the time underwater except when it eats or travels to another part of the swamp.
It has as been reported that Mokele-mbembe does not like hippopotamuses and will kill them on sight, but it does not eat them. Hippopotamuses cannot be found where Mokele-mbembe lives.
It has as been reported that Mokele-mbembe will overturn boats and kill the people from the boats by biting them and hitting them with its tail, but it does not eat the people.

Problems For the Skeptics I
By Phillip O’Donnell

The Following article is not copyrighted and may be freely copied.
Many of the skeptics are saying that the only people who claim to have dinosaurs or dinosaur-like creatures are lunatics and hoaxers. However, this can proven wrong quite clearly. Not only do the following accounts show the skeptics to be wrong, but also provides powerful evidence for the existence of dinosaurs in recent times.

In 323 B.C., Alexander the Great and his fighting men reported while in Africa, they were forced to retreat from a huge dragon that was 105 feet long and had eyes the size of a shield. It was apparently worshiped by the locals

In 1271 AD Marco Polo wrote that dragons were used in China to pull the emperor’s cart on special occasions

The “father” of written history (Herodotus) wrote that in Arabia he saw many leathery-winged, serpent-like creatures on the shore of the Nile Delta.

In 565 AD, Saint Columba, a missionary from Ireland reported seeing a giant monster in Loch Ness.

While visiting Lucerne, Switzerland in 1619, Christopher Shores reported seeing a giant winged dragon that had a long neck and tail, and large jaws.

Around 722 to 705 the king of Assyria (King Sargon II) was sailing in the Mediterranean Sea when he stated that he saw a sea serpent.

The following article was discovered in chronicle (from England) from 1405:

Close to the town of Bures, near

Sudbury, there has lately appeared, to the great hurt of the country-

side, a dragon, vast in body, with

a crested head, teeth like a saw

[and a tail extending an enormous length.

Are Living Dinosaurs Possible?

If I told you there are dinosaurs still alive today, what you would be your reaction? Would you say “But dinosaurs went extinct millions and millions of years ago!†or maybe you would say “what living dinosaurs? I don’t see any dinosaurs.†This type of thinking is the result of evolutionary teachings being taught as fact in public schools.
An early 1800’s dictionary lists dragons as “rare, but still living animals.†Throughout history it is has been an established fact that some types of dragons (dinosaurs) were living animals. In the 1700’s a pterosaur (flying dinosaur) carcass was on display in a museum in England.
Even in some places today where evolutionary theories haven’t been taught, it is common knowledge that dinosaurs still live. For example in Papua New Guinea, locals see a
gigantic flying reptile called the Ropen. In our language it would be called a pterodactyl. In the deep jungle in the Likouala Swamp, Africa, natives occasionally seen long necked, long tailed, four legged reptiles browsing on plants on the shore of rivers. They call the creature “Mokele-mbembe†or “the water-dragon.†We call that type of creature an Apatosaur.
In Australia, secluded tribes in outback sometimes see enormous, long necked, large bodied, reptile-like animals in some lakes. Again, we would call this animal a plesiosaurus. Even in some remote areas of Mexico, people have seen what we would call “pterodactyls.†....

"So they “roughly†shove away film and photographic evidence, verified eyewitness accounts, and ancient artifacts that depict dinosaurs. Is this true science? "
Quote:
If there are living dinosaurs, then where are the carcasses and dung, and why hasn’t one been discovered yet?

There were many animals that scientists had no idea they even existed! One was the Megamouth Shark, a 16 foot, deep-sea shark, that scientists didn’t even know they existed until the late 1960’s. The Okapi was believed to have gone extinct millions of years ago until it was discovered in the early 1900’s. A fish called the Coelacanth was written off as “extinct†by evolutionary scientists. In 1938 a living Coelacanth was found near South Africa. Could it be that evolutionary scientists are not always right?
Unfortunately a living dinosaur, does not “fit†well with evolutionary theories, which many of today’s scientists believe in. So they “roughly†shove away film and photographic evidence, verified eyewitness accounts, and ancient artifacts that depict dinosaurs. Is this true science? ...

Curiously, not a single trace of the creature has ever been found apart from legends of the pygmy locals who are superstitious. Not so much as a bone. Amazing, isn't it? Seems to me someone said: "Superstition knows no geographic or time boundaries." Oh, that's right, here it is:

Yeshua reminds me of the adults in the "Peanuts" cartoons. All I can get from him/her is "Blah blah blah blah blah!"

Amazingly enough, I saw several creatures outside today outside today that I know for a fact are the living remnants/descendents of dinosaurs...no really it's true....

They're called birds......

Mind-boggling, eh?

By the way, it's really starting to smell of desperation in here....

You need to check and fix the quotes on this thread, otherwise it is attributed to the wrong person, as yours was.

What a croc!

Wilson is another YEC nutjob and a friend of Baugh's. I'm ashamed to say he is an Australian.

Baugh is actually listed as the current president of this non-accredited "college" aka correspondence bible school (now in the US). So either his mate (who :founded" the "school") gave him these fake unaccredited "degrees" and "doctorates" or he literally gave himself his own "qualifications".

I've been involved in Education in Australia at the Tertiary level for years and little fake correspondence "colleges" like this used to pop up all the time until they were shut down.

Either way, that ridiculous little correspondence bible college could not legally grant ANY science qualifictions or ANY PhD in "Education" other that religious "education". It was purely a tiny diploma mill bible school who briefly got away with handing out "theological" qualifications that required little or no actual study with little or no assessment. Those places are laughing stocks and would not be able to set up in Australia anymore.

That last "text from a letter" from Baugh's friend Wilson attempting to sound "offical" is a complete joke. They are BOTH liars and frauds.
