I have to admit, this is a question that after spending over two years on this forum, I am glad to see some originality in. I think it's a great question but I also think a large part of it depends chiefly on who and what we are defining a "young person" as. Does it mean a seventeen or eighteen year old? Or are you referring to someone around the age of ten or eleven? I only ask because certain levels of maturity may play a big part in the approach taken.

Regardless of age, the true way to deepen ourselves as human beings is to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is written, there is none righteous no not one. We are all fallen away. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Knowing Jesus Christ will then awaken your mind, for Jesus is the truth. The whole universe then makes sense. And you will understand that everything has a purpose in Gods plan.

Good question, I would say first of all what does it mean to be a human being, what are the responsibilities that come along with this status, or are there any responsibilities at all.

The question you asked most likely has 6 billion answers. One would have to find the answer within themselves.

It's a continuing journey, I'm somewhere halfway into it and I'd highly recommend it.
