Just curious because when I thought about it, it seemed that to do a study like this you'd have to find people who had never drank, measure their brain volume, and then convince them to start drinking.
I realize that's not was done so who knows? Maybe it's brain volume that determines one's tendency to drink. In the same way it'd be difficult to determine long term effect on brain function. Their have been some great alcoholic writers, it'd be interesting if there was a way to determine how they would've written without drinking.
