This should get any one upset that is concerned about the welfare of our Nation

In 1952, PresidentTruman established one day a year as a
National Day of Prayer.

In 1988, President Reagan designated the first Thursday in
May of each year as the National Day of Prayer.

In June 2007, (then) Presidential candidate Barack Obama
declared that the USA was no longer a Christian nation.

In 2009, President Obama, canceled the 21st annual National Day
of Prayer ceremony at the White House under the ruse of
"not wanting to offend anyone".

On September 25, 2009, from 4 am until 7pm, a National Day of Prayer
for the Muslim religion was held on Capitol Hill, beside the
White House. There were over 50,000 Muslims that day in DC.

Guess it doesn't matter if "Christians" are offended by this event - we
obviously don't count as "anyone" anymore.

The direction this country is headed should strike fear in the heart of every
Christian. Especially knowing that the Muslim religion
believes that if Christians cannot be converted, they should
be annihilated.

for our nation, our communities, our families and
especially our children.

Cry me a river. Christianity doesn't have a monopoly on this country. This country is not and never was a Christian nation. All people and religions are equal, not just the Christians. Fortunately most of the Christians I know don't seem to share your sentiments.

Namaste!!

The Christian taliban will sink the U.S. faster than the Muslim one.

I'm concerned about the welfare of this country, not the Christians who feel the need to mesh their biblical beliefs into every topic. We are not a theocracy.

Muslims make up just a tiny amount of our population but given the world wide conflict between Muslims and Christians, especially in terms of terrorism, it's possible that Obama was just trying to generate some good will when he acknowledged Muslims the way that he did. There's not a chance in the world that Islam is going to replace Christianity in America so I don't think it's anything to get worked up about and it's also a fact that this is not an officially Christian nation and was never intended to be by the Founding Fathers.

Thank you for the heads-up.
I've been praying very hard that the christian taliban doesn't get any positions of power and authority.

Sorry, but I'm more concerned about our economy making a recovery than trivial crap like this.

Just remember when you pray: whatever happens, it'll be God's will. I guess believers should have nothing to worry about when you think about it that way.

You bible thumpers are always looking for something to complain about.

Do you need a calendar day to tell you to pray??

How about you and your bible go help feed the poor. I mean, since you're not praying on the day anyway.

I don't want the government telling me who I can pray too or who I can kiss. I just want them to fill the pot holes and kill the terrorist, (and I'm not even sure about the pot holes.) Besides, if your religion is so unappealing that it has to rely on the government to force it down people's throats just to survive, maybe it's not such a good religion to begin with.
