Many years ago, as a young just-married pair, we discussed ways to make our fortune; we agreed that the two top growth industries were health care and religion.
Being squeamish we had to rule out health care as a way to get rich so we tossed religion around for some time before deciding that we were equally squeamish hypocrisy-wise...we simply needed to retain our self respect more than we wanted the massive flow of bucks which could be easily fleeced.
wow the insults here are just beyond amazing. ignorant generalizations is abundant. i dont know about you but i can easily spot religion/churches that are OBVIOUSLY in it for the money. it is sad how some people make money out of hypocritic front that they can save you by going to their church. it is sadder that many people flock on these scam churches. don't they read the part where Jesus trashed the merchants in front of the temple?
