So I play this Trivia game with a private board I'm on. I don't have a lot of boards--this one is made up of other women who were pregnant and due in July of 2003. So that was my middle son. Our small group has known one another since the fall of 2002 so we're tight.
Anyway, I just started this game with my girlies. The second round I played was on the subject of "Religion". How appropriate! I got two questions wrong. One was on "the first country people prostyletized in". Apparently it was England. The subject was too vague! I demand a recount!
The other was on Wicca. So come on, cut me some slack there. Wicca has a bajillion rules and every sect is different from every other sect (not to say that Wicca isn't a religion in its own right; it is). The question was what to do if your cat enters the circle while you're having a ritual. I chose the answer that the cat has to stay in the circle until you're done. WRONG. The answer was that pets and children can enter or exit the circle freely. Did anyone else know that???
But I got some right that I never would have if it were not for Citydata. One for instance was whether Catholics believe Jesus was 100% God, 100% man, or both. TRICK QUESTION! But I answered both...bingo. I have the unfair citydata advantage! I'm not going to tell my girlies about CD because I want to win this particular tournament. Mwah hah.
So...see? And here we all thought we might be wasting our time being addicted to the Religion forum. But see how it can come in handy? And I mean after all, a trivia tournament is VERY important.
Anyway, that's of no interest to anybody, I'm sure, but I found it funny!
