Christian right leader George Rekers takes vacation with "rent boy" - Page 1 - News - Miami - Miami New Times

On April 13, the "rent boy" (whom we'll call Lucien) arrived at Miami International Airport on Iberian Airlines Flight 6123, after a ten-day, fully subsidized trip to Europe. He was soon followed out of customs by an old man with an atavistic mustache and a desperate blond comb-over, pushing an overburdened baggage cart.

That man was George Alan Rekers, of North Miami — the callboy's client and, as it happens, one of America's most prominent anti-gay activists.

The far Christian right has some of the most amusing hypocritical tendencies of sexual repression and denial bested only by those pariah's of orgasm denial in the world of Islam. The more restrictive they try to appear, the more evil they try to make sex sound, and the less accepting and tolerant of others they are - the more it seems they like to touch the penises of other men.

Those that seem to put forth such flagrant denials of human sexuality often seem to be the perpetrators of exactly what they're speaking out against. If they're not willing to admit that their "moral values" are a complete floccinaucinihilipilification (I couldn't wait to use that word), the least they can do is shut the hell up.

As a conservative Christian, I have never heard of this guy before; but that's why I focus on Jesus, not man, all humans are dirt bags.
