I'm assuming the statement here refers to the absence of evidence? How can absence of evidence be an opinion? I might not know of any evidence but that still doesn't make it an opinion.

You have presented anecdotes that few, if anyone, on this forum has ANY way to verify or confirm. You probably simply made them up.

That is not "ignoring" facts by people like me. That is not simply accepting everything as "fact" just because you call it one.

Nozz speaks for me too. I need quite a bit of convincing. I need 'facts' to be verifiable.

Often the reason you cannot find something is because it doesn't exist.

Yup just waiting around for my head to opened up like West world and update my software

I’m not atheist I just don’t believe in anything . When you go to bed at night ; a night you didn’t have a dream you just wake up the next day but had no consciousness of you sleeping . That’s what I believe death to be ; you are just gone, sleeping forever no conscious or awareness

Its even more often the seeker doesn't want to find what they deny exists. They are self invested in negative outcomes.

No, statistics and probability say you are wrong.

While not believing in X because there is no evidence for X is a fallacy, people use it all the time because it works most of the time.

Or fully explain why spiritual faith based recovery models are so effective with addictions.
