I would think in trying to help the poor, love others, put others before yourself, and in being generous (anonymously). Also, not judging others (that is a big one).
Whether or not everyone does this is really not my concern. I am too busy trying to live that way myself, and it is challenge, to be worrying about how someone else is choosing to live their life.
When we love and just BE, we are following Jesus. Just being love is what God intended for us but then it all got messed up with the older priests and what they thought God wanted. So, they added rules and regulations for people to follow, to instill fear so that the people did what they wanted instead of what God wanted. Then Jesus came along and said "Just Love", Love God and each other. But that was too easy. So now we have a bunch of people walking around telling us what to do or not to do instead of just being in the world and loving each other. If the world did that, we would see peace. We would see a better planet to live on. We would bring our world into Light and Life. All because of LOVE. Easy isn't it? Why not Love instead of hate and fear. Why not love instead of telling another they are wrong. Why not love instead of telling another that they will burn in hell if they don't follow what you believe. Love does conquer all.
There is no "Christian" that follows Jesus' Word. There is no way anyone can.
The 12 were sent to the Israelites. Paul was sent to Israelites who lost their identity and became Gentiles. The true gentiles benefit from Salvation when they follow according to Paul's teachings.
Paul's message was to the "Gentiles" first - this is the reason for Ephesians 2nd chapter. Verse 16 says:
"And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby".
The term "reconcile" means to RE-establish. If you know Scripture, you will know that The MOST HIGH knew and identified Israel ONLY. No other nation.
If you have no INITIAL relationship with someone, you cannot "re-establish" or "reconcile" with that person... you would have to have had a relationship already.
The only People who fits this are the Israelites.
So you have to read scripture thoroughly to understand it and to apply it in your life, and even then, you cannot apply it, it applies to whom it applies.
People have no power of control of this - only the Power of the Word.
Many claim to have a "personal relationship" with Jesus...how can anyone have a personal relationship with Jesus if they don't even know what Jesus preached? Of course, they can't apply the teachings of Jesus because they don't even know what the teachings of Jesus are.
Unintentional christian humor.
Where Do Christians Apply The Teachings Of Jesus in their daily lives?
Here's one example:
John 6
28Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?" 29Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."
