Well, the Social Security Administration allows people to change their social securty number if there is a sequence of 666 and it has something to do with religious beliefs. I have that sequnce in mine, but never had it changed and probably won't.
If I "found out"? Where would I have been not to have noticed?
lol probably asleep and not didn't really noticed or paid that much attention to it.
I have been reading alot and doing alot of research lately about life, history and about God, I'm much closer to God and I don't feel comfortable having this name, some say it's just a name but I dont' feel like this name is for me.
I'm a little confused, what do you mean 'carries the same meaning and sounds similar'?What is your name and how similar could it be if you never noticed until recently?
People change their names all the time so I guess its up to you.My guess is that it isn't 'that' similar or your parents wouldn't have chosen it.....but then again I don't know your parents.
right you don't know my parents LOL
Yes when I look up my name and the meaning of it, it is the same meaning as Lucifer, and spelled almost the same way. You get it now?

The use of the name "Lucifer" in reference to a fallen angel stems from an interpretation of Isaiah 14:3–20, a passage that speaks of a particular Babylonian King, to whom it gives the title of "Day Star", "Morning Star" (in Latin, lucifer),[2] as fallen or destined to fall from the heavens or sky.[3]In 2 Peter 1:19 and elsewhere, the same Latin word lucifer is used to refer to the Morning Star, with no relation to the devil.
Lucius (Greek: Λούκιος/Loukios, Etruscan: Luvcie) is derived from the latin word Lux (gen. lucis), meaning "light" (<PIE*leuk- "brightness", Latin verb lucere "to shine"). Another etymology proposed is a derivation from etruscanLauchum (or Lauchme) meaning "king", which however was transferred into Latin as Lucumo.
I would not be worrying about it, but then again, it isn't my name. Just because it has the same root word origin does not mean that your name is the same as Lucifer (assuming I guessed the correct name or something similar).
It means 'light' in its most basic meaning, and nothing more.
Just curious - if you were to change it anyway, do you have alternate names picked out yet?
