Hi all,

I'm from So Cal and have been visiting Reno the last 10+ years during the ski season. This is the first year where I will be there during Superbowl. I found information for last year (2011) where the casinos were having Superbowl events, but this year I've only found a few casinos hosting such as Eldorado and Peppermill. Also, I remember reading about the Biggest Little Tailgate Party, but I haven't seen any info posted for this year. Is that still going on for 2012?

It's mid-January, and I was just wondering if the casinos announce their events as it gets closer to Superbowl. Are the casinos busy during Superbowl? Also, does anyone have recommendations as to which SB casino events to attend? Ticket prices that include unlimited food and beer (but mostly beer!) would be best.

Thanks so much!

Hi there --- enjoy your time --- almost every casino will have great activities during this time...especially with those who have big sports book. Peppermill, Atlantis, Silver Legacy, Grand Sierra and John Ascuaga's Nugget.....I have not heard anything about the Tailgate Party either....usually that is the Saturday before the Superbowl and it has become an annual and well attended event, I would expect it will happen. I would watch Silver Legacy and Eldorado web site for any updates.....

Have fun wherever you end up....we do love our football in Northern Nevada!

Peppermill is by far the best party there must be 2000 people
. I've been the last 3 years. Pony keg on every table, 3 drink tickets for hard alcohol (their well is top shelf) and a huge stadium food buffet. It's gone up a little every year in price but still well worth the $55 admission this year. See you there!
