The high cost of rent and a cheap dental clinic is driving me to reside in Elko for a while. I expect very Minnesota like snow weather. I am not thrilled. Thank god Walmart has delivery.

So Elko's cost of things isn't always cheap. And there isn't "Minnesota like snow weather here". It's high desert just like Reno and the rest of the state. Might be a little more winter like but not much. If you aren't making a good decision to move here than don't. Carson, Fernley, North Valleys, heck, CA has dental options as well. Why hate on Elko? The cost of dental care is high wherever anyone lives.
