Hi there, We are originally from Scripps Ranch in San Diego and moved to Summerlin (Las Vegas, Nevada) last year.
Now we love it here but unfortunately, we have to uproot our family for my husbands job again. We are looking for a community similar to Summerlin, that is family oriented, has plenty of parks and recreational facilities. and has the best schools in the district. I have seen many good posts about South Meadows and Spanish Springs.

my sister lives in south meadows, it is cute and spanish springs is nice, but quite a drive. The place that I would say is comparable to Summerlin is Somersett. if you have that kind of money, definitely check it out. it's gorgeous. im waiting to hear about a job in Vegas actually, and I want to live in Summerlin so badly, (last time i was there to test for the job, i rented a car and found Summerlin, got lost, and loved it LOL) but know it's a little out of my price range to begin with...

I would definitely say Somersett, they have their own little community and golf course, not sure if they have their own schools, but the ones in the NW are known to be good from what ive heard.
