no but I do have court this thursday because well his lawyer didn't file a continuance so I had to drive all the way to the court house to have an associate lawyer reset the court date... doesn't that seem a bit like they were seeing if I wouldn't show and if I didn't it would have gotten thrown out... but ya I will hope for the best.

To reply to an earlier post, he didn't give me 30 days notice of an eviction or anything like that... the problem is unrelated, he changed terms in a lease in which IL state law specifically says you can't do and that is to change from master metered landlord paid to individual metered tenant paid without and agreement between the two parties during the time of a lease. I paid a full year in advance... thats like buying a house from somebody and then after owning it for a 7 months and being reassured you have paid it off that you haven't bought the backyard didn't come with it even though you were assured it did... sorry bad analogy.

Anyway his lawyers seem to have been playing a bs game so I know they probably don't have much to go off of to win.
