You can not be removed from the lease without some sort of notification that the lease has been changed.

If you both signed the lease together, the only way to remove you is to either have YOU ask to be removed or for the roommate to go to the LL and ask that a new lease for the apartment be drawn up, with her on the lease alone. The LL may or may not agree to do this (this happens a LOT when relationships end) and the roommate runs the VERY large risk of being declined and asked to leave because she does not meet the LL qualifications for renting alone.

If you want to know for sure (although I am guessing you are on it) go to the manager and ask for a copy of your lease. In most states, you are legally entitled to a copy (or at leas the chance to see) anything that bears your signature. They may charge you a fee, but you would have peace of mind and this would become a threat the roommate couldn't try again.
I haven't read the entire thread, but I agree with the underlined.

The OP's mom could be cutting off her nose to spite her face if the OP's income helped to qualify them for the rental. Furthermore, LLs always prefer more adults on a lease rather than fewer so it gives them more people to sue for unpaid rent, damages, etc. The mother can't unilaterally "remove" the OP from the lease, and I see zero motivation for the LL to remove him from the lease, either, and unless he is a fool he is not going to get into the middle of their silly domestic dispute.

As you can see from the response immediately below your question, it is often a good idea to begin your own thread because the responses to your question may be different and your question often gets overlooked by people who read from the beginning and not all the way through.

Having said that, no, your landlord cannot except in some situations: 1 of them being a court order. Do you have a restraining order against you, perhaps?

My boyfriend and I have been living together only a month or so and all bills are in my name and my name is on original lease agreement... Can he take my name off lease without my consent or even evict me?

Not unless the boyfriend is the landlord. Have you read the previous replies to the original question?

Is the boyfriend on the lease?

Why are all the bills in your name? Can you afford the bills without his help? Is he contributing at all to the rent and bills?
If not, why are you supporting him?

I'm having an issue just like this except in trying to get my sister to move out of the house. She is on the lease with my bf and muself, but her be is not. I kicked him out of the house because all they did was fight and I got tired of the verbal abuse. Now my sister verbally said that they were all moving out but considering she is on the lease can I contact my management office and let them know she said she was or no. She said it, and I agreed that was best. The other thing is I have a feeling she will not leave. What can Ido in this case? Are my hands tied.

Me & my babies dad are both listed on the lease but due to a DV situation a temporary order was issued. When he left their was a past due balance owed which has carried over. I am about to get evicted because it's to much to catch up on..my landlord said he removed my ex from the lease agreement because of the temp order? However in court I was told he couldn't be removed because it wasn't Permanent order. Can my landlord just take him off without my consent or the balance owed paid off? What are my rights in this situation. I don't want to be the only one held respinsabile

You and your baby daddy are responsible for that balance. If they can't find him, they are coming after you.

He make not be able to take his name off the lease, but he can evict you and your children for unpaid monies owed.

Find your baby daddy and tell him to pay up.
