hi all
where can i find rental vacancy rates for a particular city or a metropolitan statistical area (MSA)

iam trying to analyze some areas and one of the key factor would be rental vacancy rate, it would be of great help if someone could point me to right direction

Check the local business section of the newspaper. Ours publishes the commercial and residental vacancy rates once a month.

Here's a link to a website that has vacancy rates on it. I'm not sure how frequently those numbers are updated. Also, usually the Chamber of Commerce websites will have that type of data.
