It was very easy though. I think the hardest part was getting the plastic covering off of the extension cord.
Black wire to black wire, white to white. I used the plastic electrical caps to keep the wires together. Mine were wall sconces so once I added the plugs I just screwed the lights into the wall, and plugged them in.

Lauriedeee you did a better job explaining than I. That's exactly what I did, but with a chandelier. I got the extra cord (the part with a plug) at Home Depot.
I also "swagged" the cord over to the side of the room and covered the entire length with chain, so it looked nice...not a naked cord running along the wall.
