One time, she followed me into the bathroom and proceeded to make a loud farting noise. Inappropriate, sure... but it was still kind of funny. It made me feel a lot better about myself...

I saw your thread and I registered to reply.
Most of the replies are useless and don't understand and make you look like you are the crazy one.
I wanted to say that you make sense to me.
I know what you are talking, I have a situation where neighbor never leaves home, no tv no radio, have no idea how person pays for rent, it is really creepy and annoying and sometimes I feel like person is following on a squeaky wood floor.
Sometimes I come home late at 1 am and I want to sleep but person above starts walking and moving furniture that can continue until 5 am. It is completely unacceptable how people can be ignorant and annoying. The only defense I have is a noise machine and time left until my lease ends. Person above obviously has money for rent but doesn't need to work and doesn't care about other people who need sleep to go to work to pay for rent.
On that last one, pay particular attention to the "others" part since it also included bluetooth devices.
It should also be mentioned to turn off remote access to any computers you use. It's one of the first things I do when I get a new computer since I don't feel any need for some service tech in India or whereever to take over my desktop to solve a tech issue for me. I know enough to fix the issues myself.

Here is the right answer. You need to hire a private investigator to do an electronic sweep of your apt. Because that would be the only way possible to explain how this person is able to see in your apt.

I'm straight and my upstairs neighbors were two lesbians. These two were clearly following me, not only where I was in the apartment but what and when I ate, what I looked at on the Internet, what book I picked up to read, etc. If I did something they approved of they tapped twice on the floor: "in".
They moved out the other day. Yesterday, the complex's new management was reminded that there was unfinished business in the lesbians' old apartment; they went upstairs to the now-vacant place and a minute later left, carrying a device about the size of a small room fan that appeared to be a boxed surveillance camera.
Will continue this thread when I get more information.
But no, you're not paranoid, but it's quite possible that your stalkers are--we clearly no longer live in the world's greatest country, and there are a lot of disgruntled, unemployed, and/or mentally ill Americans out there who need someone to blame that all on, someone to hate. Ah if I had a buck for every time our old neighbors would follow us around the apartment aggressively farting at us.... I'd be able to afford to move outta here, that's for sure. Boy I don't miss this crazies, smh.
I have this happening now with african and jamaican neighbors. The police don't can and I too am having an emf test completed. If you can't stand this move or hire someone to kick their azz$*#*%s. the funny part is they alway go to church. I get them to stop by playing heavy metal and porn all day. They're so lazy all they do is sleep all day and I don't get home until 930 or 10pm.
I now have neighbors like this, they are afrikinz and jamakinz. Exactly what did you do? You see most persons are cowards and you'll have to do something drastic I mean really drastic
