I agree with what was said previously that you probably should've gotten something in writing, but I don't really see anything wrong with what you did. If I'm understanding the OP correctly, everything was left in the garage? Most good landlords have a turnaround time between when one tenant moves out and another moves in for cleaning and such, so leaving some stuff in the garage for 3 days should've been within that timeframe and wouldn't really be getting in the way of anything.
I'm sure if you put everything outside on Dec. 1st then you would've been charged for putting it out too early...
It appears that you were coordinating putting stuff out with the day of weekly pickup.....and trying to do so in a considerate manner as far as not having it curbside for several days.
I guess you should have just put it out there (against local ordinance??)
Speaking as a LL, I think your's is being unreasonable but I suppose she has the right to be.
Small claims court judges use a lot of discretion. Take your chances that one will see it your way and believe that she had previously OK'd the timing if you want to take the chance.(and filing costs are low and 3 days rent is high enough to make it wortwhile)
what do you all think if its the other way around and I am frustrated because my landlord agreed to move his old refrigerator from the garage at his townhouse, that I rent, and has not yet, it's been over a year!

If it was agreed that it would not be in the garage from the beginning in writing there is no way it would have lasted a year with me.
Without something in writing I'm afraid you might be out of luck. To all the people who are griping about disposal fees remember that not all places have them. For instance in my township, disposal is free. You just put it on the curb, call a hotline and it is picked up and disposed of free of charge.
