I can see not being shown or even thinking about the parking spot, especially if you weren't shown the exact place you have rented. I would have assumed it would hold my car, particularly a Prius.

Do any of your neighbors drive big vehicles? How do they fit?

I read it as HE couldn't get in and out of the space, this doesn't mean another driver would have any problems doing so.

I think my questions when looking at the place would include "Where is the parking, do I have my own spot, where is it?"

I can't see not being shown parking. In an apartment complex the parking is right in front of your face....how can you miss it?? And I've never ever visited an apartment complex who didn't give a full tour of the grounds via golfcart.

Just guessing, but perhaps the OP just has difficulty parking? Needs more space to manuever than the average driver? I cannot believe a spot is too small for a Prius.
