You just might be right... seen stranger things before.

Do you have a good fence?? A really good screen door? I would fence my front yard too. Make yourself a secure yard...cuts down the riff raff that have access. Do you have a way to put up some sort of divider, so when you are outside he can't even see you? I have a fence and I plant blooming vines that grow up a bit more over the fence..not because I have bad neighbors, because I like my privacy. Otherwise, totally ignore him. If he starts something go inside, lock your gate/door and call the cops. Call them repeatedly if you have too. Like the other poster said, start and keep adding to a paper trail. If you get enough documentation you can get a protection order. If you eventually have to get a protection order he may have to move to comply w/ it.
I feel badly for you, it is miserable living by someone that ruins your day on sight.
He sounds unstable, take nothing for granted....call the police. And, any verbal threats file charges...it's called terrorizing, and it is taken very seriously these days. Where I live terrorizing is a C-Felony, brandishing a weapon, even showing you a weapon to intimidate you...where I live it is minimum mandatory 2 years (ND)

I saw him a few days ago & ignored him. I heard her crying to another neighbor about him last night & his car is gone so im hoping he left for good. This woman has VERY low self esteem & i dont want to have anything to do with her. I actually prefer to not talk to my neighbors cause some are quite nosey & ask too many questions & some want to borrow things & i dont loan out anything.
