i have told the landlord about the problem he refuses to send him outside as well as calls bum friend bum constantly stinks not something you would wanna go home to i need help on how i could confront landlord again so he can kick him to the curb

Yes, calling the police is the only thing you can do. Even your landlord can't remove him by foce. If he comes back, then call the police again.

It is your right to have him removed.

If the police shoo him away and he comes back then you call the police again. As long as you keep finding him in your hallway you keep calling the police. It won't take him long to find someone else's hallway.

I don't know about that. I suspect that if the landlord has given him permission to be there, the police will not run him off. It sure sounds to me that the landlord has given him permission.
