With that said, if someone left their clothes in the washer or dryer and it's been quite some time since it's been in there, would you remove the clothes or just wait it out?
There is only 1 washer and 1 dryer for 12 apartments. Machines have timer on so there is no guessing on when it'll be done. No table to put the clothes on nor did the guy leave a basket.
Has happpened before, assuming its the same culprit.
Sometimes I just want to toss those clothes into the garbage can, maybe he'll learn his damn lesson to come back in a timely manner
but no worries, even though I am tempted cause I'm annoyed of waiting but I won't.
Yes, I would. I wouldn't stand there waiting for the timer and start removing the clothes the second the buzzer goes off. I'd give it 10 minutes or so. I also wouldn't put them on the floor, or the garbage either.

don't they have tables/counters for the laundry? Just put it there. He probably won't care. He ran to run an errand or went back home and will be back at some point.

Nope, no table. Small apartment with only 12 units.
When it first happened I thought the same thing, probably forgot or went out for something but after repeatedly happening, I'm not so sure...
its called inconsiderate stupidity( on the part of the person who leaves the clothes )
carry a plastic bag with ya and put the clothes in that and leave them on the machine .. just be sure your back in a timely manner for your stuff..
