Do I have to list a crazy ex-landord in my rental history?

I don't like surprises when checking applications.

Much rather someone be upfront and will give them credit for being honest.

It's always best to answer truthfully when concerning a rental application , because ur credit report will most likely back up or reveal the answers that you have written down. Not nice when your put on the spot about a contradiction on your app that doesn't match ur credit report.....Awkwarrrrrdd!!!!

If you are in a tough spot and that address shows up on your credit report you can say it was only for 2 months and you moved out because of bad neighbors or a nasty LL which happens and you moved in with a friend for the rest of the 2 years if they are willing to vouch for you. I know this is an old thread....If honesty is going to risk you getting into a place that you need, bend the truth, they can tell by your credit how honest you are in paying your bills.
