I own the home and have a property manager that deals with the property.

Back to the topic at hand, that I know of the OP has not back to the thread to update us. Hopefully they will come and get us all up to speed.

You could read this OP's other thread for more insight into the situation

Not fair.
I wonder how long he has lived in this apartment?
Does that matter, legally speaking? What is your legal argument here?

With all due respect, I'm not seeing posts straying off-topic. Would you mind pointing them out so we know? We certainly want to stay on-topic.

Everyone seems to be discussing 30 day notices on rentals, section 8 rental notice requirements, landlord notice requirements and other topics brought up by OP in relation to her situation. Kim got some questions about her definition of "landlord", but that was posters wondering who had which specific experiences related to OP's topic(s).

I asked a guy why 20 years residency creates a legal argument (as he implied) against 30 days notice on a month-to-month lease. That's on-topic. There have also been a few posts wondering what's happening with OP's situation, which must be on topic. I'm having difficulty seeing where the thread is straying...

Why not just pay the $53.75 you owe and be done with it? You're willing to go through an eviction and fight a legal battle for $50 and lose your home when you have no other options??? Are you crazy?

The thread is 9 months old and the issue has, I'm sure, long since been resolved.
