How are they to deal with after the lease is signed?

We have self-toured a whole bunch of their houses and found a few we like. I have called their number twice and found friendly people on the other end. I would love to hear from some people that have dealt with them about the "after the sale" service.

Since they're such a huge company (franchise?) you might get better responses posting in the specific state forum where you're looking as they likely vary quite a bit from place to place.
