Isn't there a company where they can come and take the birds away?

Yes, a mountain out of a mole hill. ONE night, out the how many nights you've lived there you hear birds, so it's the end of the world for you.

Talk to your landlord; especially if you think they are nesting in the building. If they are in the building they can hire someone to remove them as long as they aren't a protected species. If they are neighbor's bird they will be asked to cover the bird or move it somewhere else. If you're talking about a flock of birds hanging out on the property or in the trees...you're on your own for contacting Mother Nature.

Staff said they will put some device in the trees to send the birds away. I think there is only ONE bird that makes the unique dog/chicken type noise though. Where is that bird?

Anything that disrupts sleep (as I type at nearly 3am) isn't a molehill. Your landlord should call pest control.

I will say a noise machine is a wonderful thing. Like a fan blowing-type noise. I hope you get this taken care of.

I was working in the facilities maintenance organization in Kuwait and a Colonel had an active birdnest recently built in the ceiling of his dwelling. He was a really nice guy but he got really cranky! We had to fix that fast.

Sounds to me like a Cockatrice and, based on folklore, the staff may be putting a mirror up in the tree.

You should be scared, very scared ...

Birds migrate in spring and fall. It's possible the bird is passing through and will be gone the next time the wind conditions are right for heading north.

Tree frogs make night noises, usually when it's rainy/wet outside. It could be a treefrog, depending on where you live.

There's an owl here that I hear at night. Strange noise. I thought it was a coyote at first.

Pest control comes here every Friday. Lol, what will they do? They are here for roaches and other insects. I wonder what creature it is? This bird actually makes the same noise during the day too/

Where do the put this machine at?

Are you serious? This is a real creature? Mirror for what?

It has been very cold and rained also.

Sounds like a chicken though. A dog can also make this noise.
