It is absolutely true. Even better, the mother tried to sue us for the medical bills! The judge threw her out of court and put her son in jail for good measure.
They were playing baseball in the courtyard and smashed the window in my bedroom. This happened when I was at work. I came home saw it, asked the LL about it and they told me they’d fix my window today. (I know its them since I see them playing baseball regularly).I brought up what happened and they said they were going to talk to the parents about it since theyre behavior is posing a problem for the other residents.
It occurs to me that kids who are raising hell in an apartment building are unlikely to annoy just one tenant. Maybe your complaint was the one that tipped the scales and got the manager upset enough to finally put the screws to the nasty kids.

Thanks for the advice everyone!
Sorry about the window but that's good news! Hopefully you'll soon be enjoying a quiet life again!

Sorry for the wrong theyre. It should be their
Yeah but theyre should be they're! There!
The landlord should charge the tenant parent of the kids who caused the damage for the repair costs of fixing the window.
