I am scared of my neighbor! Please help.

amazing that this is typical behavior of neighbors like that in many places, in fact the housing projects in chicago - this was common noises in the projects. yet people survived. guess the OP is just too scared of her neighbor (maybe she is from the suburbs where this is unheard of). so fear paralyzes her. its the adrenaline Fight or Flight reflex. sometimes it makes you freeze in fear.

Rarely post here anymore, the thread title grabbed my attention. At one time this forum was filled with nothing but professional responses and advice. This has got to the worst rental thread I've ever seen.
