Thank you! I will try one more time to get all documents from them, give them a demand letter for return of deposit and threaten to take the situation further if they do not comply. Hopefully they will find it in there best interest to return the $500 verses legal action.

This is good advice. Our State has a Consumer Fraud and Protection Office...part of the States Attorney offices. I've personally seen things happen immediately for some folks that I've advocated for, or those I referred. My contacts have always been by phone.
