In his ad, my landlord puts this; "Social Security and Disability recipients get $25 / month discount" but won't honor it when I brought it up to him on September 4, 2014. I moved in on September 3, 2014 and noticed that he didn't do this discount. Here is his website No Deposit ! - Free Utilities !. I have contacted four real estate attorneys explaining my dilemma and what kind of legal options do I have.
Why did you sign a lease that didn't include the discount or move in? The time to bring it up was before you signed the lease.
Unfortunately this.
What did the lawyers you contacted say? If you signed a lease the terms are binding regardless of advertising. However if it were an agent or management company they typically are bound by law to honest advertising and you could try to go after them under those grounds.
Did your lease say it at all? If it doesn't, as others said, you agreed to what's in your lease and signing it. For future reference, read your lease and refuse to sign until it's correct.
