My gate fell off the wall at the beginning of July, still waiting.
It could be a gazillion different reasons, hence why you need to send it certified/RR.

Or even that they converted to some type of system that sends out an automatic reminder and they just got it all set up, and expired in november 2014.

I've been the victim of auto emails with my software here at work for HOA's, I could TOTALLY see it happening for something like this.
Well its not an email. It's a typed up mail correspondence with handwritten areas in it.

Any one of us could have gotten dates of tenancy wrong but it doesn't mean it was done for the same reason they got it wrong. And answering that question is not going to get you the answer you need anyway.

My coworker had her landlord notify her of a rent increase for next year. She replied with a copy of her lease showing she was in a 2 year lease with one year remaining, her agent said "oh I forgot". Its rented through a PM, so yeah I could see it happening.

Honestly they probably had it down as a nov 2014 expiration and have been letting you slide as a month to month (in their mind). Really a pretty easy basic mistake esp if they did a software change or PM change.

I know. It's frustrating.

Same goes with email. When I try calling the office, the receptionist tells me they cannot help me, that I need to go through my manager. It's a frustrating cycle.
Get off the couch and walk yourself into their office and don't leave until you get it resolved. It's up to you...

Don't know about the software change. But I do know that the PM employees and company have stayed the same throughout my lease.

Unfortunately, walking into their office gets the same response; you need to contact your property manager, we cannot access your account here, they deal with that property.

I do believe that my property manager operates as an independent contractor for the company, and that they are a work-at-home couple. Yes, couple. My property is ran by two property managers, husband and wife. I've got both their contact information, and get the same response from either one.

I suggest you started typing that letter that you are going to send certified/RR and get in the mail today. It has been made very clear that nothing else has worked nor will work.
