Thank you all for the advice. I will seek for legal counsel, see what my options are, and I'll move from there.

As I was about to seek for a legal advice, I found someone who was on a biz trip for 3 months (same company from oversees). He wanted to stay in an apartment rather than in a hotel. He liked my place and the monthly rent cost. Luckily, he wanted to move-in a day after my move-out date. And his last day was day before my lease end date. I left few furniture he could use during his stay. He only had two luggage, so there was no moving involved. I just didn't notify the leasing company about it. It's been a while but I thought I'd update for those who left good advice.
