I have been told that in California it is perfectly legal to discriminate against couples vs singles for a room in your home especially if there is a crowding situation.
But is it legal for a home owner to charge more for couples than singles for a room in your home. The city itself has no discriminatory laws, just the California and Federal laws which don't seem to mention this specific issue.
so, pick the one you intend to voice your opinion on and do so. New forum visitors get confused...don't scare them off by snarking at them...it adds nothing to the discussion.
So what. This is the first time I've seen it. What do you do, just sit around and research every post someone has made? Wow...maybe a hobby is in order, huh?

I will DENY you a room in my home because I will not rent to smokers - pet owners - druggies - drama llamas or couples - or men. Young females only as they make the best roomies !!
