My original move out date was 4/30.
Since my new home is scheduled to complete by end of April, I requested and got approval for extension until 5/31.
Rent (@ $2000 per month) is paid up all the way until 5/31.

According to my original lease (wherein the move out date is 4/30), the property manager is allowed to do new showings 30 days in advance.

Since my new move out date is 5/31, I expect new showings to happen not prior to 5/1.

However, I just found out that the property manager wants to start showing this Sunday, 4/3.

I am really uncomfortable that the property manager is pressuring me into showing the home ~60 days prior. I am dealing with a pushy person.

Do I have no say in this matter?

Sure you do. If you just extended the original lease, the original terms are in place. Just let her know that.

This person I am dealing with is very pushy. So I wanted to make sure "I have a say" before I go back to him.
I have also requested advise from his broker and my original rental agent.

I hope they agree as well, and ask him to back-off until May 1st.

I would agree with NMSFM on this. Your lease term date has changed but not the terms within your lease. Just point out to all applicable parties the clause within your lease regarding showings as well as what your new term date is and it should take care of it.

Oddly enough the Texas Property Code does not say anything at all regarding the landlords right to enter or show the property.
