I think that living with a parent could make a lot of sense. Parent wants to stay in their paid-for home, but needs help to stay there. Doesn't necessarily imply that the LL is emotionally immature.

Why would I care where my LL lives? None of my business. And in very expensive areas, this would be pretty understandable.

I've never met my landlord or even know his name.

I certainly would not know that he lives with his parents unless he just felt like contacting me out of the blue and telling me.

And I certainly couldn't care less. That's his business.
