Does anyone out there know if it is legal to increase land rent on a Brevard County, Florida, mobile home when the homeowner "owns the home," and pays land rent to a landlord? The original owner died in 2007, no change in title has occured, and the original lease from 24 years ago cannot be located. Thanks for reading this.

My mother owns a mobile home in Martin County and gets annual lot increases. Even though she owns the home, the lot is rented and is subjected to rate increases.
