Hello, I am curious. Does anyone have any experiences, positive or negative towards vrbo. We have several properties listed on their website and we have noticed recently that there have been several fake pages with photos of our properties on their site. These are scams designed to steal people's money. I know that vrbo has a fraud department and they will take down a scam sight if it's reported to them, however, I wonder how many of these fake pages slip through the cracks unnoticed? Am I the only one who thinks that the scams are growing in number? Are there any other safer alternatives to vrbo out there that I could look into as an owner?
That's how we vacation. We take a family vacation every year all over the US and we only stay in VRBO. We only had one problem in Boulder when the owner never cleand the home properly and my 4yo found edible pot and a joint on the book shelf next to the toys. I was not happy and the owner could care less.
