I will soon be renting a 1 bedroom apartment in Albuquerque. Around 750sqft, what can I be looking for as an average on gas and electric?

Your utility bills are based on usage; no one will able to guess how much electric or gas you will use. The best you can do is call the utility company and ask for a usage history, but don't put too much stock in that info.

Not only on usage but location and who your electric provider is some areas of the country have higher electric rates as do certain providers.

Best thing to do is ring the doorbell of the apartments nearby and ask how much they pay.

Another factor is if there is an older central AC unit in your apartment. I had one place where it was a small place and it cost $100 just to keep it to not be sweltering all the time, not even to make it comfortable. I've rented places where the AC cost $60 a month too.

I'll tell you, exactly to the penny, if you can tell me how much I will spend on groceries this year.

Hint: your utilities will be on a meter. You will pay for exactly what you use. If bills are too high, you will be able to get them down (but probably not by much) by conserving.

Again, your utility rate is based on usage and knowing what your neighbor pays for electric, gas, water isn’t going to help you. It might give you a rough, very rough, indication but that’s it
