From a legal standpoint I am not sure a LL can stop a spouse from moving in and out when there are no other disturbances like drug use, or violence , loud noises.
Some on here say it's the landlords choice because he or her owns but there are also tenant rights .
Maybe this situation is not common and will just have to see what happens . The rational side if me can't see a LL refusing to put me back on lease he will have two people on lease better than one and he knows I have a fixed pension income.
The irrational side says what if the landlord is really annoyed and has had enough is that a personal problem or does landlord have the right to refuse it may be a grey area but I do not believe stating LL can refuse just because he owns then he can refuse certain races or gay people . But LL can refuse certain types of dogs so again grey area.
No one can help you here if you continue to play games with your location. Accurate answered depend on specific state laws.
I do not understand why it matters I do not think any tenant rights manual or lease mentions this situation in any city.
The closest thing would be if a roommate was living in apartment and was not on lease landlord can evict with seven to thirty day notice the days vary in documents I have read.

Ok I live in Illinois and one thing I. Know is you can sublet so if LL does not let me in my spouse would have to sublet which I view as more of a hassle for LL than me moving in.

Actually. It does matter. Many locations give a spouse the right to be added to a lease. Since you refuse to be truthful, nobody can point you in the right direction.

I don't get how this could be trolling and it's not very nice to call people extremely mentally ill. I do have severe anxiety and OCD. Maybe it's wrong for me to use this site when I have anxiety about something that may not be able to be answered but you calling me extremely mentally ill is just not very nice if this thread is confusing it's because of my anxiety and I was freaking out due to my situation I am in.
