Say what? You don't need service for wifi.

Yours *doesnt.

Then you either have an ancient phone or a flip phone. ALL phones that have wifi capability, work. You just cannot make calls except 911.

That's a pretty big deal. I don't think it is good for a young female to be on the streets or in a car.

It wouldn't even be HER car. She doesn't have one. Good thing we're in warm weather now.

You can have virtually FREE cell phone service these days. There is a cell provider that offers a free sim card, and for $20/month unlimited calls, texts, data on ATT network. Or for $10/month, 500 total minutes or texts, plus 100 MB (0.1 GB) data, on ATT network. It really FREEs you UP to be MOBILE. And you can earn money by viewing ads, so you can really make it totally free. You might not even have to have a credit card to do it - a debit card might work.

I think that this is the cheapest way to have cell phone service.

actually you can get an actual free one (not a ''smart' one of course, but that's not necessary). should have info at food stamp office, or you can find online probably.
