I live next to a bunch of elderly people that are nosy and seem to gossip all the time. They watch my every move. They listen to my bowel movements and when I shower. They leave their apartments when ever they hear me on the phone to listen in. They listen to everything. The walls are thin in my apartment. I want to move but can't afford it right now. I go into my living area and I pull the curtain to see a nosy neighbor standing there looking back at me like some zombie. I get so mad and want to you fill in the blank.

They always decide to group up and gossip about me outside of my own window (I live on the ground floor).
I go to the window to confront them and they do pretend like they are not talking about me, as well as walk away swiftly.

When ever I am reading a book, they wonder why I am not making any noise. so they go into the hall-way and walk around my unit to see where I am.

These people are crazy these days. They are old and should be thinking about getting right with God, instead of watching me, for their time seems short and hell is where they may end up for all the back-biting. . I can't imagine getting old and focusing on other people. I would want to live out my dying days. Every single day, its the same routine. "Hey neighbor lets go listen into this guy taking a sh*t" For this is how it must sound like..

Do they have a reason to gossip?

I wouldn't worry about it. If they're old they probably can't remember what you were doing 5 minutes later anyway.

I recommend seeking the advice of a trained professional to discuss your paranoia.
