I love this building ..

Those apartments have been renting like hot cakes .... you have lots of very wealthy renters who have no interest tying up multiple 7 figures in buying .

That makes sense. A lot of people who can afford to buy are renting right now. Honestly, probably not the best time to buy with how high housing is right now. No one wants to end up upside down.

That's not a fair example, Manhattan studio condos cost about $1 million and several hundred a month to over a thousand in HOA fees especially luxury ones with deluxe amenities. and the property taxes would be more than a house in NJ 20 miles away.

Nothing ever is a fair comparison to you if it does not agree with your opinions.....everything that does not fit in to a point you want to make is always an unfair example or some kind of exception.

the fact is this is life in other parts of the country

it does not negate the facts ... it is what it is and there is no such thing as unfair examples ..there are only examples some don't want to hear exist so they rule them out ... this is a big country with millions of people and all different lifestyles and ways of living ...not just the ones you prefer to hear about. the anti renting obsession some have here is just ridiculous . if it ain't about owning it has to be excluded if it bucks being poor

No. What's insane is charging someone a nonrefundable $200 fee for just applying!!! That's ludicrous! $150 for the administratio fee and $50 for the application!!!!

Must be an administration with gold fingers!!

Nothing is insane if people find it worth it .....personally I think what many people spend on landscaping is insane. I think closing costs are insane in many areas and title insurance at the prices they get totally nuts

Do people find it "worth it?" Or do people find they have no other options?
