Trumpers are the ones with TDS. He mentioned a politician so I mentioned a clown.
If the death toll from this CoronaVirus turns out to be a fraction of the estimate, Trump will be viewed as a hero. Many people have probably already recovered, and did not even know they had it.
What are you doing for your tenants? (I know you don't have any...)
This is how some tenants think. Someone else, on the other side of the state gets sick and they start hoping that they will get absolutely free rent for a few months.
No, sorry, no free rent and if you decide to not pay it, you are most likely to get a judgement filed against you and maybe get your salary garnished when you do go back to work.
Finances will be easier if you pay it somehow: savings, help from family, help from your church, welfare, borrow. Falling a couple of months behind is going to be difficult to catch up.
And maybe, realize that it is important to have a little savings put aside to cushion the rough spots in life. It's not like there is anyone alive in this country that has never heard about saving a bit for a rainy day.
I said *I* wouldn't not pay my rent. I hadn't even thought about how renters could delay their rent payment until the governor and then mayor said they could get a 6 month penalty free delay.
Curious... can landlords or property management companies apply for small business loans? Are they insured anyway for non-paying tenants (sans pandemic)? Just wondering.
