Oh you’re the one who lives downstairs? Nice to meet ya. What you dont know is that....I’m moving in tomorrow and I’m a professional bowling champion and I’m practicing my initial ball throw DAILY from 6 and 7 am then again at 6 and 7 pm for my world tour in 6 months. I ordered 12 bowling balls...keep a eye out for the package. SSTTTEEEEEEERRRIIIIIKKKEE. Gotta go. 10 pin yeah

Yeah it's insane. It's like I can finally breathe again. I could literally feel my blood vessels relaxing. I was tense all the time unless I had on my noise machine.

So you don't want me to move in and practice my tap dancing on the kitchen floor above you ?

In all seriousness though I am glad your stomper moved out. We lived in an apartment with multiple stompers upstairs and it sucked. I hope that your new upstairs neighbors are quieter and more considerate.

I think you mean you’re going to live in your unit and not bow to someone complaining about your walking.

You only practice two hours a day?? I think you should practice from 5 am til 9 am and then 11pm til 2-3 am... just for fun.

I am under a stomper. Good thing I am half deaf.

I AM a stomper, so good thing I have a 1st floor apartment. Here is to getting back into a single family home one of these days. Home ownership has its pains but overall, I do like living in a single family home a good deal more than living in an apartment. My stompers is like #10-15 on my list of apartment complaints.

It is not as if he wakes me up at night. My age related sleep problems wake me up and I just hear my stomper when he happens to be awake.

Beats the heck out of living next to a drummer. The WORST.

Also, people who play rap or hard rock or any really base heavy music. That base just passes right through the walls, if it doesn't turn the wall into one big speaker. And then since you can't hear the mid or high tones, you can't even enjoy the song. It is just thump-thump-thump.

I will take a stomper over a drummer or loud base any day.

Congrats on hour new found peace.

I lived over a guy who had band practice in his apartment starting at 11pm on Sundays and other weeknights. So much worse than JUST the drummer, because he had the full array. On weekend nights he was usually out getting drunk and would come in screaming and would just slam everything in the apartment when he got home.

Yeah unfortunately this building is the worst for noise insulation. The sound travels ridiculously. I can even hear noises from the apartment above-mine diagonally but not the stomps. But just about all of the other sounds come through.

I've posted to numerous rental sites warning people of this complex. Lots of 1-star ratings. Anything to hopefully deter people from moving in lol.

In fact, the reviews must have been so scathing as a reason for them deciding to remove the Reviews section from the complex's facebook page

Looks like I have one commenter on ignore. I am not interested in what "Kim in Fl" has to say. I ignored them months ago. No time for any of their BS "in defense of stompers" lines of arguments.

Hopefully the next tenant will be more sane and not a worst case scenario type who used a bicycle to get around and was never ever away from the apartment in addition to seeming to stomp intentionally whenever I would arrive in my apartment.

It seemed very intentional because within seconds of me closing my door they would start stomping around.

Also, they started stomping at like 4 or 5 am. This person was not normal in any sense. Hopefully the next tenants have a car and actually get out and be normal.
