All the bad things OP described, she should have known when she moved in,thin wall, negligent repair, undesirable neighbors,it all comes with the neighborhood and how much is the rent/month?
It sounds like you just want to move,so go ahead, plenty of tenants just get up and move ,many do it at night when the leasing office is closed.
Some states like TX,all property owners support a data base where they record deadbeats,so potential landlord can review .
Do you have a place to move to now?/

What database in Texas are you referring to? I’m a LL in TX and haven’t heard of it.
It's really the thin walls, dog owners, generator not working, slow maintenance, slow to fix broken appliances fleas, and the subletters. Everything else is fine lol.
You can buy your way out of a lease with an early termination fee. Contact your management and negotiate the fee, if it is not already given in the lease.
If I am reading your complaint correctly, you have a child who cries frequently and dogs who bark at every noise. It sounds like you are the noisy neighbor. You think it is just absolutely fine for your family to make a lot of noise but that no one else should be allowed to make any noise?

Very true but the difference is constant vs intermittent. This is constant noise that is non stop and shaking the entire apartment. Ours is intermittent.

He mentioned that there's enough commotion taht it knocks things off of walls in the floor above him.

You don’t need a reason to break your lease. You follow the terms of the early termination clause that is in your lease.. couldn’t be any easier.

Correct. I would suggest once you read it, analyze the extra costs to break it, the liability should it not be rented again quickly, next step meet with rental office to affirm you properly assessed the extra costs involved.
