Well, Artsywoman... I've looked everywhere for Florida law and see nothing requiring a phone service. Here's something you can read on landlord/tenant law in Florida. I gave one of these to a tenant, and from there on she thought she was Judge Judy and kept trying to get out of rent for legalities she didn't fully understand. Don't do that to your landlord. Thanks. Don't worry I am not like that. They are very nice and said they would hook it up to some line. They know what they are doing. Boy, they are lucky to have me as a tenant, because I have heard stories. My landlord said they had some crazies and are glad I am here! I would not want to be a landlord!
